Else Am See in Schuettorf

Great restoration, especially in summer, a brunch is highly recommended. Good, well-kept drinks and food from regional cultivation and breeding. It was a pleasure.

A top restaurant! Very modern equipment and very healthy air to breathe in! Very friendly well qualified staff and nice! The prices are fair trade and the menus are excellent. Of course I recommend it to others. I think you too, dear readers.

The staff was not really customer friendly. The prices here are quite high and the food is not good at all. They did not ask how the steak should be cooked, chicken was still pink inside, vegetables were still hard and the potatoes had a texture as if they had come out of the freezer. We returned the food and it was prepared again. Unfortunately the 2nd time was not much better. The chicken was actually undercooked and the steak and pork had been cooked for so long that it made you feel like chewing on the soles of shoes. In addition, both of us did not feel well after that, the food was very heavy on the stomach and caused nausea. This was really disappointing.

Situated alongside a great wonderful natural lake! The Quensdorfer See. The establishment is very very modern and up2date. The water a very clean for a refreshing swim. Also very safe for children due to safety ropes. Be careful, it is very deep in the centre! Parking lot is beautiful very nearby. Almost near the entrance. Al doors are almost as in StarTrek nxt generation. All is very clean hygienic. The staff is very friendly and speak several modern languages fluently. Conclusion: Looking for a relaxing almost beach boy or girl afternoon, this is the place 2B! Tip: Lookimg for a most romantic evening or night 4 love couples? Else am (Dativ 3er Fall) See!!!

Great ambience and view. For children there is a nice playground and beach in summer. Inside it is cozy with a fireplace. The food is good and the service is friendly. Prices seemed appropriate to me. I can recommend it.

It was a wonderful evening! Everything perfect! The staff was so accommodating, friendly and easy going! Thank you! Were there 5 hours and didn't want to leave. Even outside, on the terrace, at 12 degrees, it was warm and cozy. The view of the lake is unique!

Nice small sandy beach, for lazy drivers the parking lots are only a few meters from the beach and restaurant. Also a small hiking trail around the lake. Operation and service top.

What a nice place on the lake. Extensive menu, fast and friendly service. We had the Belgian waffles. These were fresh and delicious. The thirst quencher is a must. They have different flavors.

I was here for the first time. Very great place. Great restaurant, lots of space also outside - right on the lake terrace. Always friendly, attentive and efficient service. The food is also really tasty and very good. Especially the waffle ...... 😍 And the Else Durstlöscher - simply delicious ... Between the delicious burger and the waffle, we were on the beautiful beach and really enjoyed the day. We'll be back for sure. 😍👍🎉

We were there last weekend with 6 people for dinner (wedding anniversary). We had reserved online in advance. That worked out very well. The ambience is great, the service staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious too. Then why only one star? The starter came 3 minutes after the order was taken, and the main course followed closely. My mother ordered a latte after dessert and we paid. Not a minute !! later we were complimented out, saying that other guests were already on hold. (We sat there for starter, main course, dessert and latte; 1:45 am. Personally, I think that's quick.) You feel like you're in a high-throughput business. Apparently the tables are reassigned every 2 hours. If you knew that beforehand, then you have to spend a cozy evening somewhere else. My mother felt pressured to drink her latte as quickly as possible. We were very angry that the guest is not "allowed" 5-10 minutes to enjoy what has been ordered, but is "said goodbye" in this way. Very rude!

A great location for brunch and then, when the weather is nice, a digestive walk around the lake. It was very busy when we were there, but not overcrowded, confused or chaotic. The breakfast buffet was very rich and there was something for everyone. The hot dishes were delicious too. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. The only point of criticism on my part would be that due to the corona situation there is no disinfection station in the buffet area, where you can disinfect your hands before and after you touch or touch the buffet rugs. This was only available at the restaurant entrance and the entrance to the buffet. Otherwise everything was great - keep it up. 😊😎

Very nice, stylish restaurant right on the lake and next to the lido! Very appealing, clear menu. Reasonable prices! Because we were so enthusiastic after the first visit, we came back two days later with our friends to eat waffles with ice cream, cream and hot cherries. Very nice presentation and tasty! Nice service! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Emsland!

Great ... Super nice service, even the dog was chaffed. The cake 🥧 and the ice cream were delicious. Only the coffee could have been served at the same time as the cake. That is the only negative point

Very nice atmosphere, we had a seat at the window and could therefore look out over the lake. The burger had 300 grams of medium rare beef, which was well fried. The service was extremely quick and the burgers were at the table within 10 minutes of ordering. The mirror by the toilets was transparent. It was a bit irritating to see the other people on the other side washing their hands. Relatively expensive in terms of price. Approx. 20 euros per person. It was a great experience to eat here and I hope to come back again in the future.

Best spot!!!! A natural lake near Schuettorf ,a very nice relatively small village with a very interesting center and great history.

Food often too expensive in relation to the taste the some meals have.

During our holiday on feriendorf quendorfer see 2 times eating here. Nice ambiance. Very friendly and fast service and delicious dishes. And also for a nice price. You can sit here with a view of the quendorfer see.

Again really good food and nice friendly atmosphere. This place become one of our favourite restaurant. Reservation recommended because they are most of the time fully booked. In summer is great too because you can sit and chill outside with beautiful view of/over the lake or even take a swim.

Excellent! The restaurant is really nice on the lake with a sandy beach and is cozy and inviting. The food was delicious and the portions were well sized. We do not have more than 30 minutes. have to wait for our food (7 adults and 4 children). Also for vegetarians there is a good and delicious selection. The service was really friendly.
